Decorate an Easter Egg Competition

We had so many fantastic entries this year in our annual decorate an egg competition that we had to get some help with judging. We were lucky enough to have our local MP Seema Malhootra to help us with judging the book themed eggs. Seema Malhootra attended a number of our exciting  book week activities and along with our Chair of Governors, Miss Turner, had a very difficult task to choose the winning entries – they did however manage to agree upon the final winners, pictured below – entries from Nursery –Y6.

MFYM Awards

On Friday 28th October, two of our pupils were lucky enough to be presented with a very exciting award. Ryan and Grace, both in Year 5, were selected to receive an award in recognition for their hard work and talent in music. Ryan, who plays the trombone, and Grace, who plays the clarinet, were presented with their awards at City Hall in London, and will both receive a four year music scholarship so that they can continue with their music tuition and continue to develop their potential. Only three children from Hounslow Borough were chosen for this award, and we would like to congratulate them on their amazing achievement!

We would also like to congratulate Imogen and Tiana, also in Year 5, who will also receive music tuition as a Shadow Scholarship.

We are very proud of all of these children!
