Fairholme Primary School requires a Food Service Manager

Grade: Scale 6 – SO1
Salary: £21,072 - £24,642 per annum pro rata
Hours: 35 hours per week x 38 weeks per year (term-time only)
(7.30am – 3pm Monday to Friday (½ hr break)

Fairholme Primary School are looking to appoint a Food Service Manager to join our school team. You will be someone who can proactively manage our in- house catering service and work alongside the school’s Leadership Team and our external consultants, Eagle Solution Services to integrate the school food agenda into the curriculum and broader learning process.

• Do you have experience of menu design?
• Are you up to date on school based nutritional standards?
• Have you got a recognised catering qualification?
• Are you seeking a role that works around the school holidays?

If you have answered yes to above and have a passion for cooking, fresh food and providing healthy nutritional meals for our children, then this may be the role for you.

The Food Services Manager will lead our in-house catering team, designing an appropriate menu alongside our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and our partners Eagle Solution Services.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the in-house catering provision, including stock control, budget reporting, staff supervision and training and meal production and will ensure that the service complies with all Health and Safety, food hygiene and statutory regulations.
