  • simple, clear online safety advice specifically tailored for children aged 6-9 years old,
  • 10-15 minutes of fun activities, games and discussion points,
  • narration from an experienced member of the Childnet education team,

With lots of fake information out there, the government has launched a Coronavirus information service on Whats App.  The free to use service aims to provide official, trustworthy and timely information and advice about coronavirus (COVID-19), and will further reduce the burden on NHS services.  This will help combat the spread of coronavirus misinformation in the UK, as well as helping ensure people stay home, protect the NHS and save lives.

To use the free GOV.UK Coronavirus Information Service on WhatsApp, simply add 07860 064422 in your phone contacts and then message the word ‘hi’ in a WhatsApp message to get started.  More information can be found here.

Lots of young people and families are using the Houseparty app.  Click here for Childnet information about how to stay safe whilst using this app.
