School council

Photo of school council coming soon...

Every class, from Year 1 up to Year 6, has two representatives on the School Council.  The school councillors are elected by their classmates at the beginning of each academic year.

Meetings are held every half term and councillors discuss and sort out problems.  (These may include school lunches, playground resources and organisation, the learning environment, behaviour or ideas for fundraising events.)

Councillors are expected to discuss issues within their classes and to give all pupils a voice by reporting back to a member of staff and Governors at council meetings.  They are expected to be excellent role models, and to lead by example.
