Autumn Term - Welcome !
We have made a settled return to Nursery after our half term break. This half term is very exciting - it includes Hallowe'en, Diwali and Christmas! Lots to talk about and lots to inspire our artwork and play.
We will be reading 'Funnybones', 'The Gingerbread Man' and 'The Elves and the Shoemaker' as our main stories, as well as many more during our session time.
Later in the term you will be able to look at your child's Learning Evidence book as well as have the opportunity at Parent's Evening to talk about your child's progress and learning.
Good Morning,
Please click on the linked document for some home learning ideas which you can do today.
Please remember that if you cannot access the story, you can choose another book which you have at home and do similar activities to the ones we have suggested.
We hope you enjoy your day.
Good Morning,
Please click on the linked document for some home learning ideas which you can do today. We have been reading “The Gingerbread Man” and the learning activities are mostly related to this story. We have included a YouTube link to the story and the song in the attached document. If you cannot access the story, you can choose another book which you have at home and do similar activities to the ones we have suggested. Please adjust the learning activities to suit your child, they will either do a bit more or a bit less depending on their skill set and understanding.
We hope you have a lovely day.
We have two classes in Nursery:
Elephants & Owls
Mrs Cowley is the Nursery teacher and she is supported by two Early Years Practitioners Mrs Wahda and Mrs Wolanin.
Both classes share the Nursery learning space and all Nursery staff work together to help the children achieve their full potential and ensure that they make good progress.
Ms Cowley is our Year Group Leader.

It is essential that children have appropriate clothing and footwear when coming to Nursery. We have fantastic provision which includes lots of opportunities for children to explore and learn. This means that often children's clothing will suffer because of their messy play experiences. All the materials we use are natural and will usually wash out of clothing.
