Year 1: Wellbeing activities

Now, more than ever, it is crucial for all of us to be mindful of how we care for our mental health and wellbeing.

This page aims to provide you with ideas for non-academic activities to do with your child. These are just as, if not more important than the academic activities we have set through the weekly home learning.

Please email or leave a comment on our wellbeing blog to share ideas you come across or to send in pictures/videos of activities you have shared with your child.

Everyday Learning Activities

Just a reminder of some of the many activities that you are likely doing with your child already, which are absolutely learning activities!

30 Day Lego Challenge!

We know that many of our children adore the chance to work with Lego and are sure that they would love to share this passion with you!

Art for Kids Hub is a fantastic family channel that takes you step by step through how to draw hundreds of different characters. Don't forget to send in your drawings to the Year 1 email address!
